Gaiee Records was a DIY label. It managed one single Valentino's 'I Was Born This Way' is reported to have been the first openly 'Gay' record ever. The Gaiee label was owned by Valentino's manager, who entered into a licensing agreement with Motown when that company expressed an interest in the single. Motown issued 'I Was Born This Way' over here on Gaiee, in 1975; it was the label's only release in Britain. Pressing and Distribution were by EMI. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
