G & S
RECORDS
G & S Records was a DIY
label. It managed one single. Chris Gilbert's, 'Love Is All'
(GS-1001), which came out in 1977, intensive research has revealed the existence
of at least two others. The first was an EP called 'Sacred And
Traditional Music' by the Newport Cathedral Boys Choir: it was made through John
Hassell recordings and had one of that firm's catalogue numbers, HAS-3065, which
puts the year of issue at 1975. Second was an EP by the Cambrian Male
Voice Choir featuring 'Stout Hearted Men' and four other tracks. The
number of that EP, which also came out in 1977, was given as
GS-102. It's possible that Chris Gilbert was the 'G' in G
& S; but if he was, who the 'S' was remains to be discovered.. Distributed

Info.
