Independent label: Fynedisc Records speciality was in recordings of church bells. It issued at least two records in or around 1971, a couple of 33 1/3 rpm EPs, both of which featured the bells of Inverary church. Numbering was in a 33 FD-0 series; 33 FD-1 featured the Yorkshire Association of Change Ringers and was called 'Bells Of Inverary', while 33 FD-2 was 'Melodies On Inverary Bells'. The first EP certainly came with a coloured picture sleeve, so the second probably did as well. A partially scratched-out matrix number on the EP shown above, 33-SD-214, suggests that the record was originally intended for release by the Saydisc company - it fits into their series.
