Independent Reggae label: Freedom Sounds Records was a London-based Reggae label.  Freedom Sounds came on the scene in 1978; it issued at least twenty-two singles in two colour schemes, using an FS-000 (or FSD-000) numbering, and appears to have made its exit around 1981. Freedom Sounds was owned by Bertram Brown and that it was associated with the White Rum / Red Stripe label. Distributed By Mojo Distribution. Freedom Sounds Former address: 130 Oakington Manor Drive, Wembley, Middlesex and 206 Church Road, Willesden, London NW10. Bertram Brown, died aged 58 while swimming off Jamaica's north coast.
