Fleet Records was a DIY label. It managed one single an EP entitled 'Whoever Finds This I Love You' by Ricky & Sherlie Young (IS/RSY/1014). It was recorded at Newcastle's 'Impulse' studios. Impulse recordings often appeared on the studio's own 'Wudwink' label, the Fleet EP shares Wudwink's IS/XX/1000 numerical series, where 'XX' represents the artist's initials. There's no date on the record, but a comparison with others in the series suggests 1976 or thereabouts. Ricky & Sherlie Young were from Wearside, and were a popular comedy / vocal duo in the '60s and '70s. Their career was cut short by injuries suffered in a car crash in 1978.
