Independent Reggae label: Flames Records was American in origin from Brooklyn, New York. Most Flames singles don't seem to have made it to these shores, but, if catalogue numbers are anything to go by, at least two of them did. Those two were 'Solitary Man' by Raunchie & Bev (F-101), and Errol George's, 'Set Up Yourself' (F-102). From 1976 and 1977. Flames Records was owned by Ossie Thompson and Winston Jones. It had a sister label, Flamingo. Distributed By Flames Records. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
