Findus Records was a DIY label. The frozen-foods company Findus ventured into the record-producing arena only once, coming up with the promotional single, 'Gone Fishing' at some point in the '70s. It features the vocal talents of Jane Relf, who recorded with Prog Rockers Renaissance; her husband Jeff Wayne, of 'War Of The Worlds' fame, co-wrote, arranged and conducted it, and Chris Spedding played acoustic guitar on it. The catalogue number, SD/DS/T-001, doesn't fit into any series that I am aware of; presumably it was used by the studio that was responsible for doing the recording. The promotional singles doesn't actually mention Findus Frozen Foods or its products. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
