FI
RECORDS

FI Records was a DIY label. Frank Ifield's own label. It would appear that after years spent recording for Columbia, Deacca, Mam and Spark, Ifield decided to strike out on his own for a while; he issued three albums on FI between 1978 and 1982. The only single on FI was. Barbary Coast's 'American Trilogy' (SRTS/79/CUS-289; 1979), Country band Barbary Coast were Frank Ifield's backing group at the time, so presumably this was one of their solo outings.  They also recorded for the Champ label - whose motto was 'The Great British Country Label' - in 1981. Distributed By FI  Records. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
