FERN
RECORDS
Independent label: Fern Records
was an obscure label from Kent. It managed at least one single. by a
group called Gosfolk and was issued in 1972. The tracks on it, 'A New
Day', 'Wooden Finger', 'Dark Light' and 'Put Your Hand In The Hand', have been
described as Christian Pop / Folk. The EP had no catalogue number, and the
titles of the tracks were applied in the form of a sticker, suggesting a
self-financed effort. There may well be other Fern recordings out there,
the catalogue number, which was YR-114 - that shows that the EP was made through
the Yarmouth Recording Studios. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The
Info.
