Famous Records was a DIY label. It managed one singles. It released at least one 7", 'Bratz Are Coming' by the Bratz (AFR-1), in 1978. The record itself credits 'Famous' Phil Frobisher with production; if the label was named after him it seems likely that it belonged to him. The Bratz were Steve Schizo (guitar, vocals, flute), Stretch Armstrong (vocals, organ, harmonica), Mick Banana (guitar, vocals, rude-words), Boss Boomer (bass) and L. Bruto (drums). The band grew up around Rochdale in the late seventies. This is their only single recorded in 1978 at Cargo Recording Studios. Distributed By Famous Records. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
