Encounter Records was a DIY label. It managed one single an EP of Christian Folk songs by husband and wife duo Mick and Marilyn. The EP was also called 'Encounter'; it was issued in 1971, and it had a catalogue number of SRM-7096 - one of a series which was used by the studio responsible for making the recording, Studio Republic. Encounter would appear to have been a Chistian missionary movement; its headquarters was The Vicarage, Buntingford, Hertfordshire. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
