ELECTRIC MUSIC COMPANY
Independent label: Electric Music Company appears to have been connected to Scottish company S.M.D. Recordings, of Paisley, which was better known for its Scotia and Moonbeam labels. It managed one singles, Mike Gill's self-penned Reggae-tinged instrumental 'Flossie Plinth', which came out in 1976. Its catalogue number, EMC-4002, hints that there should be at least one other Electric Music Company single out there, EMC-4001. The logo features a dragon, for some reason. The style of the matrix number in the run-off indicates a Decca pressing. Distributed By Electric Music CompanyRecords. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
