Edible Records was A DIY label, from Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. It managed one singles 'Headmaster', by School Meals (EAT-001; 1979). Presumably the label was owned by the band. After being taken to court by a children's theatre group over use of the name 'School Meals' the band changed it to 'The Defendants'. They went on to be managed by Terry Hall of Specials fame.
