Independent Reggae label: Dynamic Records was an outlet for products of Byron Lee's 'Dynamic Sounds' studio. As part of the Trojan group Dynamic issued in the region of 60 singles between 1970 and 1972, in a DYN-400 series. The first few issues had a white label. By the time of the fifth release this had been changed to the familiar red design. As happened with many of the Trojan subsidiaries, Dynamic went through a period in 1972-c73 of having plain labels. When the agreement with Trojan ended, Dynamic Sounds' records came out on a new label, Dragon'. In 1976, however, Dynamic was revived.  It was given a new label design and catalogue series (DYN-100), and was handled by Creole Records. Dynamic survived until at least 1987, though issues in the '80s were somewhat sporadic. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
