Dorney Productions Records was a small independent concern from Burnham, Buckinghamshire. An EP of Scottish dance tunes by Frank Reid and his band seems to have been Dorney Productions's only release. There's no date on its labels but the picture sleeve places it in 1979. In addition to the medleys shown, the EP offered a set of strathspeys (?) called 'Dorney Wood', and a set of reels called 'Just For You'. The catalogue number was AD-001, and the matrix numbers - LYN-7130 / 7131 - indicate a Lyntone pressing. Frank Reid made several LPs in the 1970s for London Highland Recordings, and again the '80s for his own Frank Reid Recordings; an article in 'Box and Fiddle' magazine for December 1991 said that his band had been going for twenty-five years at that point, and that it played for dances all over the Eouth East.
