Over the years, quite a few football teams have ventured into the recording studio and made a record. Some - Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United spring to mind - have done so several times. Indeed, there are dedicated collectors of football records around; which, given the generally low musical quality of the finished products, is mildly surprising. It will surprise nobody to learn that the Crystal Palace label they don't play in claret & sky blue anymore nor call themselves the Glaziers, was merely a vehicle for a single by the football team of that name, 'Claret And Blue' (CP-100).
