CJV Records was a DIY label. It managed one single. It issued singles in an TS-000 numerical series. CJV took its name from the initials of the man who was behind it, Chris Veness. He wrote, produced (and recorded?) the only single on the label. Under the name of Chris Black, guitarist Veness went on to make several Rockabilly records with his band Black Cat in the '80s. He revived the CJV label briefly in 2001.Distributed By CJV Records.
