Braik Records was a DIY punk label, run by Bernie Rhodes who managed both Subway Sect and The Clash. Braik only issued one record, the Subway Sect released their debut single, "Nobody's Scared". It was backed by "Dont Split It". (BRS-01; 3/78). They released two singles under the Subway Sect name without an album. The London punk band re-formed a few years later as Vic Godard and The Subway Sect with frontman Vic Godard as the only remaining member. This incarnation disbanded in 1981. Distribution was by WEA.
