 A custom recording label, offering many examples of home-grown Country & Western music as well as some Rockabilly. Bill Clarke was the engineer which suggests that he may have been the driving force behind the company. Box was in business from 1974 to 1984. Singles, EPs and LPs may have shared the same BOX-00 numbering system. Manufacture  of the Brian & Friends EP 'I'd Be A Legend In My Time' (BOX-47 EP; 1979) was by SRT, as the matrix number of SRTS/79/CUS-642 indicates. The label layout of that EP was the standard one which SRT used for its private pressings; only the colour and the name changed from company to company.
