Independent label, from Jesmond, Newcastle-on-Tyne, run by Mike Maurice and Tony Glover. Blueport's first single was 'Get Your Feet Back On The Ground', by the Young Bucks (BLU-1). There was no date on the label of that record, and different sources give different dates for it: 1976, '77, or '78. The company released at least four more singles before closing down, in 1980.
