Independent Reggae label, from Handsworth, Birmingham, run by Keith Thornton. Black Wax was a record shop as well as a label; it also acted as a distributor for its own and for several other labels (for example K&B and Locks). It issued around twenty singles, during the period 1975-76. Numbering was in a WAX-0 series, and several of the early issues were pressed by Lyntone. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
