Birnbeck Island Records was a DIY label. Gorilla Grip's 'King Of The Pipes' appears to have been Birnbeck Island's only release. It came out in 1978, and had a catalogue number of KOM-019; the 'KOM' may be the initials of Keith Morris, who wrote the song. Birnbeck Island itself is by Weston-Super-Mare, so I presume that Gorilla Grip were from that area. The label has the 'smooth outer, rough inner' look of an Orlake pressing.
