BEVERLEY ARTISTES
RECORDS
DIY label of the Beverley
Artistes Agency. Beverley Artistes seems to have released just two records,
both of them by Club / Cabaret act The Barrie Brothers. Was an EP, 'The
Initial Offering From The Barrie Brothers', which contained the tracks 'Jean',
'Bridge Over Troubled Water', 'Put Your Hand In The Hand' and 'You've Lost That
Loving Feeling'. It had a catalogue number of BB/IS/1002, which was part
of a series used by Impulse studios a Defunct recording studio located in
Wallsend, Tyne and Wear, England. The studio was owned by David Wood, who was
also the founder of Neat Records. Former Address: Impulse Studios 71 High
Street Wallsend, Tyne & Wear NE28 7RJ. And made for their Wudwink
label amongst others. There was no date on the EP, but the numbering
suggests 1975. The duo's other Beverley record was an LP, 'He's My Brother'
(IS/BB-117). The Beverley Artistes Agency is still going today, and is
based in South Shields.
