Bethnal Records was a DIY label. It managed one singles. 'The Fiddler' by Bethnal.  The single had a catalogue number of VIOL-001, was made in 1977 and was Self-financed single given away at gigs. made by Vertigo, the company to which the band signed, though there's nothing on the single to pin it down as being a Vertigo product.  Bethnal were a British punk band formed in 1972. In 1978 they released two albums on Vertigo Records: Dangerous Times and Crash Landing (produced under the direction of Pete Townshend). Distributed By Bethnal Records.
