An independent Reggae label, It was, however, much shorter-lived and far less prolific than the Bamboo label of the 60s one had been - in fact, it appears to have released just the one single, 'Let The People Talk' by the Reinforcement Band. The single's catalogue number was SRB-001, and it came out in 1978. Recording was by Strom Records, of Blackpool, a custom-recording company, so presumably this Bamboo was a do-it-yourself effort. Turning the 'OO' of the 'Bamboo' logo into a 'smiley' was a pleasant touch. Distributed By Bamboo Records. Thanks to Robert Lyons For The Info.
