Independent label: Reggae label. Was this owned by Tapper Zukie? He also owned Stars Records. The run off groove matrix etchings number is stars54 which indicates it used Stars Records cat number. The label has been stuck over the Stars label. The vast majority of releases on the Stars label seem to have been issued in Jamaica, but at least one, 'Liberation Struggle' by Tapper Zukie with Doni Harvey, was put out over here. It had a catalogue number of stars-54, which may have been the number of the original Jamaican pressing. Tapper Zukie was born David Sinclair on July 02,1955 in Kingston, Jamaica.
